SWIM SHORTS - TOO GOOD TO WEAR?

Dubai-based artist and designer Robert Gabor has created textile patterns for the swim shorts of the new exclusive fashion label OIO, by using generative AI. Each of the opulently decorative fabric designs was developed exclusively for just one swim short, meaning for a unicate piece and also for some limited editions. Printed exclusively by hand to order and tailor-made for its future owner. 

The two Os of OIO logo symbolize wide open eyes with the I as a nose between them, a nose for the attractiveness for the eye. While here the mostly three-dimensional trompe-l'œil look of the swim shorts also contributes to this.

Designed in Dubai and manufactured by the most skilled partnering tailors, the unicate shorts are as unique as a painting in a museum. So these splendid wearable art works are too good to wear? No, says designer Robert Gabor. - “Wear it as long as you enjoy it and then frame it and hang it on the wall ;-)”
